Bio:
Ed is a Senior Investment Manager based in Boston, focused on sustainable agrifood investments, including alternative proteins.
Before joining Re:food, Ed worked at Planet First Partners in London, where he invested in technology-driven businesses across multiple sectors. Earlier in his career, he co-founded Inside Out, an Australian non-dairy milk brand later backed by Coca-Cola, and was a management consultant at Bain & Company, where he advised clients across consumer, industrials, and private equity.
Ed holds bachelor’s degrees in Law and Commerce (Finance) from the University of Sydney and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Originally from Sydney, Ed brings an operator’s mindset and a global perspective to identifying and supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs. While there are many great books on transforming food systems, he reserves the deepest respect for the operators rolling up their sleeves to deliver on that promise.
